When you are going into a new and unknown world, it is good to prepare yourself for theproblems that may arise. However, if all you think about is how to deal with problems thatmay or may not arise, you will not be able to enjoy the new world because you will only bewary of it.

The world is clever, which makes us worry about the future, and let us buy things "for the future" under the guise of "safe future" and "security in case of something" to make the business of this world work well. Once worrying starts, the worry builds and buildsmomentum, like a rock rolling down a slope. Worrying about the future takes away thesecurity and peace that we have now.

Before I went to the Philippines, I had many worries about the situation there, so Iresearched various things and thought about countermeasures to prepare for such matters. However, the more I worried and thought about it, the more I kept thinking, "Well, what if this happens, what if that happens?" I came back to myself when I heard a voice behindsaying, “Don't you go on trusting in the Lord? The faithful always trust the Lord Who gives wisdom and courage to deal with a problem properly at that time!" I was reminded of this truth through the Holy Spirit that it is what the Lord commands us to do, not to worry about tomorrow, but to walk in that moment, seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

The Philippines mission trip was full of events that testified to that truth. Rather thanworrying about the problems ahead, let us seek God's Kingdom and righteousness first asour priority. After the problem, yet enough we can respond with God’s wisdom and peace if we have faith in God, so that He uses it even for His glory!
