All of the Sudden

The year 2023 began, but many big incidents have happened so suddenly, that it feels like a few weeks have already passed and it’s the middle of the year. Most of the start were confusion, sadness, worries, and fear. Yes, that’s just a negative thing. Until now, when things like these happen, if we calm down, be still, and trust in the Lord, we have experienced that amazingly, they turned into a great benefit for us and was used for the glory of God. However, there rarely was a time it happened right after the New Year. We know that when a new trial that we have never experienced happens, it is a sign that the Lord wants to take us to a new area in life. Therefore, it is when sudden things happen to us that we need to remain calm and trust in the Lord. The Lord’s help, if we do not lose our heart for it, is already prepared for us just nearby. Even so, when something unexpected happens to us, it feels unbearable. No, it makes us feel completely devastated and hopeless. But times like these are the opportunity for God to show us how He truly works through those who trust in the Lord. In times of difficulties are opportunities and chances indeed. Last week, something so devastating happened to a special family from Hong Kong whom we’ve never known but by the divine guidance, and AICF was led to be a part of it. The Lord is truly using AICF for His works. The Lord is continuing to work. Though 2023 has only started, let’s be calm in our every day and every week, and walk each step by faith. ​ Pastor Takeshi
