Childhood

When you remember your childhood, what’s that like? When you read something you
wrote long ago as a child, you see how little you understood and how pure-hearted you
were, and you’ll enjoy to remember it. And, you realize that that is still connected to
your current self.
We are always the same existence as a soul. That is why we have some things of the
same sense of the past. And as spiritual beings, we grow and transform. The way we
think and feel changes as we grow spiritually.
We desire to be both the same person as pure like a child, and also grow into maturity as an adult as well. Thankfully, both are something natural and can be accomplished. However, if we make the wrong way to go, pureness like a child can be
lost and turned into a twisted person and remaining a childish and selfish being that is not
growing mature.
Prayer is a time of spiritual fellowship with God. God who created us as we are, helps us to grow and leads us to become mature. Through prayer, our relationship with God is developed, deepened, and so we are changed. That change is for us to maintain a pure childlike heart but to become mature people of love and righteousness. At such a time when we are being changed, the world we live in will be enlarged, deepened, and enhanced. This is the amazing work God does.
Just as Israelites kept remaining with Samuel in Mizpah, let us also stay with Jesus
and keep remaining in Him. Such a lifestyle as the life of prayer in Christ is what changes
and transforms us to become more like Jesus. That is the way God leads us as a new
creation!
