Clumsy Email

Yesterday, Brother S sent AICF a heartfelt email. As he wanted to express his thankful heart for our ministry, he carefully chose the words for two hours since he isn’t good at writing letters. However, when he had finally finished and was about to press “send”, he accidentally pushed “delete”, and the email he spent 2 hours on was gone! How sad that would be!
Have you ever had an experience like this? I, too, have a similar experience to this where documents I have spent hours on were accidentally deleted due to the computer’s condition or because of an unintended mistake. When something like this happens, all your energy is lost and it makes you feel that you cannot write the same thing again. Brother S, though for about 15 min he felt lost, once again found the energy to rewrite the letter and spent several hours, finished it around midnight, and sent it to us. How patient and disciplined he is!
What might have his first email of thanks been like? I am a bit curious to read his first letter, but how beautiful his email is when he chose to rewrite it after everything was gone. That is the fruit of his thankfulness, love, and even brother S’s heart itself. However, how many of us can read and see that heart instead of the words and sentences of the email? If we read the email based on grammar and vocabulary, though the email itself is a precious jewel, we assume that it is not so valuable because the packaging is not appealing.
The Cross of Christ is likewise. In our worldly eyes, the Cross is defeat, shame, misery, and pathetic death. However, when we can see through God’s perspective, it is the mighty power, victory, life, hope, love of God, and the light of righteousness.
We are just earthly vessels but as Christian the treasure of God the Holy Spirit is dwelling in it. In the world, we may be clumsy and awkward, but if we choose our action by faith, God will show His mighty work to us.
