“May Your Kingdom come” This prayer is from the Lord’s Prayer. This is what we truly need. If we don’t understand the amazing reality of God’s Kingdom, we would not prioritize this prayer in our prayer.

The priority in our prayer would be for something to be resolved, for healing, or for work to be successful. They are all that we long for desperately at that moment. We want that taken care of first. However, these prayers keep emerging one after another and there’s no end to it. We become less thankful and ponder less upon the prayer that was heard.

For God’s Kingdom to come means a huge blessing for our everything to be changed. Howmuch of that have we experienced? The more we experience, the more we will know how wonderful His Kingdom is, and we will be less affected by worldly matters. His Kingdom is not that of physical but of spiritual and is a real Kingdom that exists. We, Christians, are those who belong to this Kingdom, but we are not very aware of this privilege.

Is it good to have family? There may be some that answer, “Of course!” But on the other hand, maybe those who have hard times with family will answer “No, it is horrible!” Those who answer the latter may not have been able to truly connect as a family and taste the blessing of a functional family. It isn’t that having a family brings blessing, but only when the family functions as a family we taste that blessing.

God’s Kingdom is also like this. We won’t experience blessings by just knowing His Kingdom. In prayer, as we communicate with the Holy Spirit, connect to Jesus, and live with the Father, we will know and understand how wonderful His Kingdom is. May His Kingdom come to our hearts, then we will be changed. May His Kingdom come to our home, work, and school, and then, everything will be changed.
