Unpredictable Blessing

After living several decades on this earth, we experience most things and can predict things. The good thing about this is that we will have stability and won’t be moved easily when unexpected things occur. However, on the other side, there won’t be many surprises in life. The happiness in life will become predictable and even surprise won’t be so much of a surprise any longer.

A life lived by faith in Christ is thought to be as to obey God’s word, faithfully continue church life, and preferably stay in line within this world’s society. It seems less exciting and even a bit boring. However, the reality of life lived by faith in Christ is something drastically different from that.

According to the Bible, if anyone chooses to live in Christ, our life will be a new creation and filled with new challenges every day and we will be invited to an unknown journey that will show the glory of God and also will be led to go out into the all nations to spread the gospel.

To simply put it, if we choose to obey the Lord by faith and walk in love, we will be led to new experiences beyond our expectations. Even if you are an adult that has experienced everything, you will come to know unpredictable blessings! Of course, until we achieve that blessing, there will be times when we cannot go on without prayer because of anxieties.

When the rainy season ends, summer will begin and active growth of living things will start. We as a church are also living in a generation where the rain of the Spirit has been pouring upon us and we would grow. Let’s experience this unpredictable blessing in both our personal life and church life. Our Lord does not repeatedly produce the same product but is a God of new creation.
