God hears our prayers. That is why we pray. However, God likes to communicate with us and step by step He guides and accomplishes His wonderful work. Therefore, when He hears our desire, He does not just accomplish it quickly and go to the next person. Not at all! God patiently communicates with us through our prayer, walks with us, and through it He changes us, and accomplishes His will.
So that, after we pray, we must be careful and sensitive to hear His voice and word. That sometimes comes in prayer and often through the mouth of the body, which is the sermon of the church we are told. Anyone who earnestly prays and seeks God will be waiting for His answer with listening carefully. If anyone asks something in prayer but does not hear, it is like a person who demands what he wants on the phone and right after he speaks it out, hangs up the phone. If the person makes a phone call like this always, he will never hear the voice or the answer. And the person may say, “I always pray and ask but it has never been heard!” That’s just selfish!
We have ears to hear. The sermon of the church we hear is often the answer of our prayer. And so, next matter is if we obey it or not. Mostly it’s not easy to obey it, but when we accept His answer and try to obey it, God will help. With prayer if we obey it and start to walk, also we will find His help and support that we will know He is with us and cares, then something happens.
If we continually and patiently go like this, as walking of fellowship with God, we are changed more like Christ and at last something wonderful will come and we see His glorious work as His will! Our prayer and incidents around us are linked mostly if we are sensitively observing. Let us walk with praying and asking God!
