In Japan, It is said that a life span of a cicada is very short. Their life span is estimated tobe about from a week to ten days. However, in real nature, they are said to live about onewhole month. Maybe, even a month seems short. During this period, the cicada cries frommorning to night with all their strength. With a body so small, they cry with such a loudnoise. Where does such great power come from?

Cicada actually is not a bug that only lives short term. Although above the ground theyonly live about a month, when they are in their growing span, they live about 6 to 17 yearsunder the ground. They actually live much longer than the other bugs and is a longevitybug.

Because they live such a long time under the dark ground where there are manydifficulties and trials, their vitality becomes very strong and that is why the cicadas can cry all summer with such a powerful joyful noise. This can also be said about sports, music and other things too. If we train and discipline our self a long time in a place that even there is no light, we can gain definite skills and when we come to perform on the stage or on the game, we will be able to display that potential.

Jesus had worked and lived as the son of carpenter for about 30 years until He beganpublic ministry. Let’s take good care of our faith in the place where it is not seen and grow

steadily and live our lives to the fullest to manifest the glory of our God. In order to do that, let’s love and walk by faith in Christ with all our strength and all our mind and all our being!
