More Than Prayer?

Prayer is changed depending on the faith of the person who prays. It is also changedthrough what the person is feeling. People pray about things that they think God can do.How much that person thinks God can do depends on their faith. There is nothingimpossible with God. However, we cannot always pray with that kind of faith. Sometimes,we limit God’s omniscient power through our unbelief. How pathetic it is that we, rather than asking for God’s unlimited power, limit it.
Praise is something different from prayer. Whether we can praise or not depends on theperson’s faith status. However, praising God will never limit His power. It is becausepraising is adoring God’s greatness and mercifulness and giving thanks to Him. While confessing God as an almighty God and declaring His awesomeness, God, the Holy Spirit, works within us. Hallelujah!
While Jesus lived here on earth, He was always praying. However, most of His prayerswere praising prayers. Even during the suffering pain of the cross, he prayed Psalm 22 toHis Father as His praise. In all situations, Jesus trusted His Father and prayed in praise. For this, Jesus was raised from the dead and won the victory.
Let’s pray that we can always praise Him. That we may be able to always offer prayers ofpraise, sing songs of praise, and that we can live in praising Him. If we live in praise andworship, we can live with the Lord because He dwells in our praises.
